Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala says:
لَا يَسْتَوِى الْقَا عِدُوْنَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ غَيْرُ اُولِى الضَّرَرِ وَا لْمُجَاهِدُوْنَ فِيْ سَبِيْلِ اللّٰهِ بِاَ مْوَا لِهِمْ وَاَ نْفُسِهِمْ ۗ فَضَّلَ اللّٰهُ الْمُجٰهِدِيْنَ بِاَ مْوَا لِهِمْ وَاَ نْفُسِهِمْ عَلَى الْقٰعِدِيْنَ دَرَجَةً ۗ وَكُلًّا وَّعَدَ اللّٰهُ الْحُسْنٰى ۗ وَفَضَّلَ اللّٰهُ الْمُجٰهِدِيْنَ عَلَى الْقٰعِدِيْنَ اَجْرًا عَظِيْمًا
"Not equal are those believers remaining [at home] - other than the disabled - and the mujahideen, [who strive and fight] in the cause of Allah with their wealth and their lives. Allah has preferred the mujahideen through their wealth and their lives over those who remain [behind], by degrees. And to both Allah has promised the best [reward]. But Allah has preferred the mujahideen over those who remain [behind] with a great reward -"
অক্ষম নয় এমন বসে-থাকা মু’মিনরা আর জান-মাল দ্বারা আল্লাহর পথে জিহাদকারীগণ সমান নয়; নিজেদের ধন-প্রাণ দ্বারা জিহাদকারীদেরকে বসে-থাকা লোকেদের উপর আল্লাহ মর্যাদা দিয়েছেন। আল্লাহ সকলের জন্যই কল্যাণের ওয়াদা করেছেন এবং মুজাহিদদেরকে বসে-থাকা লোকেদের তুলনায় আল্লাহ মহাপুরস্কার দিয়ে মর্যাদা দান করেছেন।"
(QS. An-Nisaa 4: Verse 95)
Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala says:
دَرَجٰتٍ مِّنْهُ وَمَغْفِرَةً وَّرَحْمَةً ۗ وَكَا نَ اللّٰهُ غَفُوْرًا رَّحِيْمًا
"Degrees [of high position] from Him and forgiveness and mercy. And Allah is ever Forgiving and Merciful.
"ওটা আল্লাহর নিকট হতে পদমর্যাদা, ক্ষমা ও দয়া; আল্লাহ বড়ই ক্ষমাশীল, পরম দয়াবান।"
(QS. An-Nisa' 4: Verse 96)
