Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala said:
الٓمّٓ
"আলিফ, লাম, মীম।"
"Alif, Lam, Meem."
(QS. Al-Baqara 2: Verse 1)
ذٰلِكَ الْكِتٰبُ لَا رَيْبَ ۛ فِيْهِ ۛ هُدًى لِّلْمُتَّقِيْنَ
"এটা ঐ (মহান) কিতাব যাতে কোন সন্দেহ নেই, মুত্তাকীদের জন্য পথ নির্দেশ।
"This is the Book about which there is no doubt, a guidance for those conscious of Allah -"
(QS. Al-Baqara 2: Verse 2)
الَّذِيْنَ يُؤْمِنُوْنَ بِا لْغَيْبِ وَ يُقِيْمُوْنَ الصَّلٰوةَ وَمِمَّا رَزَقْنٰهُمْ يُنْفِقُوْنَ
"যারা গায়বের প্রতি ঈমান আনে, নামায কায়িম করে এবং আমি যে জীবনোপকরণ তাদেরকে দিয়েছি তাথেকে তারা ব্যয় করে।"
"Who believe in the unseen, establish prayer, and spend out of what We have provided for them,"
(QS. Al-Baqara 2: Verse 3)
وَا لَّذِيْنَ يُؤْمِنُوْنَ بِمَاۤ اُنْزِلَ اِلَيْكَ وَمَاۤ اُنْزِلَ مِنْ قَبْلِكَ ۚ وَبِا لْاٰ خِرَةِ هُمْ يُوْقِنُوْنَ
"আর তোমার প্রতি যা নাযিল হয়েছে ও তোমার পূর্বে যা নাযিল হয়েছে তাতে তারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে এবং পরকালের প্রতিও তারা নিশ্চিত বিশ্বাসী।"
"And who believe in what has been revealed to you, [O Muhammad], and what was revealed before you, and of the Hereafter they are certain [in faith]."
(QS. Al-Baqara 2: Verse 4)
اُولٰٓئِكَ عَلٰى هُدًى مِّنْ رَّبِّهِمْ ۙ وَاُ ولٰٓئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُوْنَ
"তারাই তাদের প্রতিপালকের হিদায়াতের উপর প্রতিষ্ঠিত আছে, আর তারাই সফলকাম।"
Those are upon [right] guidance from their Lord, and it is those who are the successful."
(QS. Al-Baqara 2: Verse 5)
اِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا سَوَآءٌ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَاَنْذَرْتَهُمْ اَمْ لَمْ تُنْذِرْهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُوْنَ
"নিশ্চয় যারা কুফরী করেছে তাদেরকে তুমি ভয় দেখাও আর না দেখাও উভয়টাই তাদের জন্য সমান, তারা ঈমান আনবে না।"
"Indeed, those who disbelieve - it is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them - they will not believe."
(QS. Al-Baqara 2: Verse 6)
خَتَمَ اللّٰهُ عَلٰى قُلُوْبِهِمْ وَعَلٰى سَمْعِهِمْ ۗ وَعَلٰىۤ اَبْصَا رِهِمْ غِشَاوَةٌ وَّلَهُمْ عَذَا بٌ عَظِيْمٌ
"আল্লাহ তাদের অন্তর ও কানের উপর মোহর করে দিয়েছেন, আর তাদের চোখে আছে আবরণ আর তাদের জন্য আছে মহা শাস্তি।"
"Allah has set a seal upon their hearts and upon their hearing, and over their vision is a veil. And for them is a great punishment."
(QS. Al-Baqara 2: Verse 7)

وَمِنَ النَّا سِ مَنْ يَّقُوْلُ اٰمَنَّا بِا للّٰهِ وَبِا لْيَوْمِ الْاٰ خِرِ وَمَا هُمْ بِمُؤْمِنِيْنَ
"মানুষের মধ্যে এমন লোক আছে যারা বলে, ‘‘আমরা আল্লাহর প্রতি এবং আখেরাতের দিনের প্রতি ঈমান এনেছি’’ কিন্তু প্রকৃতপক্ষে তারা মু’মিন নয়।"
"And of the people are some who say, "We believe in Allah and the Last Day," but they are not believers."
(QS. Al-Baqara 2: Verse 8)
يُخٰدِعُوْنَ اللّٰهَ وَا لَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا ۚ وَمَا يَخْدَعُوْنَ اِلَّاۤ اَنْفُسَهُمْ وَمَا يَشْعُرُوْنَ
"তারা আল্লাহ ও মু’মিনদেরকে প্রতারিত করে, আসলে তারা নিজেদেরকে ছাড়া অন্য কাউকে প্রতারিত করে না, কিন্তু এটা তারা উপলব্ধি করতে পারে না।"
"They [think to] deceive Allah and those who believe, but they deceive not except themselves and perceive [it] not."
(QS. Al-Baqara 2: Verse 9)
فِيْ قُلُوْبِهِمْ مَّرَضٌ ۙ فَزَا دَهُمُ اللّٰهُ مَرَضًا ۚ وَلَهُمْ عَذَا بٌ اَلِيْمٌ ۙ بِۢمَا كَا نُوْا يَكْذِبُوْنَ
"তাদের অন্তরে আছে ব্যাধি, অতঃপর আল্লাহ তাদের ব্যাধি বাড়িয়ে দিয়েছেন আর তাদের জন্য রয়েছে যন্ত্রণাদায়ক শাস্তি, কারণ তারা মিথ্যেবাদী।"
"In their hearts is disease, so Allah has increased their disease; and for them is a painful punishment because they [habitually] used to lie."
(QS. Al-Baqara 2: Verse 10)
